Sabihah Stars / Dancers

Laura

Laura formed Sabihah Stars in 2011 and is the Director and Choreographer of the troupe.  Laura started ballet at the age of 3 and by 6 she added tap and modern dance achieving Royal Academy & ISTD certification.  In early 2008 Laura started her journey into Belly Dance learning from world renowned Sadie, Mercedes Nieto, Fleur Estelle to name a few.

Laura is known for her graceful dancing and captivating choreography. 

During Laura's time with Sabihah Stars she has performed at many high profile corporate and private parties including African Revival at the Landmark Hotel, Studio Valbonne for Save the Children, Race for Life, Olympic Torch celebrations and opening and closing ceremonies for both Olympic and Paralympic games in London, Laura has also performed internationally in Portugal and Finland.

Laura is also the dance instructor for the dance school.

Kirstie

Kirstie has had a varied dance background including ballet, ballroom and street dance before joining Sabihah Stars in 2011.

 

Kirstie is passionate about this wonderful dance form that expresses femininity and fun and is known for her strong isolation's and shimmies.

 

Performance highlights include; African Revival at the Landmark Hotel, Olympic Torch Relay, Race for life, Turning on Christmas lights and many performances as the Gordon Craig Theatre 

Kate

Kate has been dancing in various forms for over 15 years before discovering her passion for belly dancing in 2010.  

Kate is known for her sharp hip isolations and engaging smile.

Kate has danced at many high profile events and parties as well as charity events for Save the Children and Race for life. Kate enjoys dancing on the big stage at the Gordon Craig Theatre too.

Nadia

Nadia's passion for belly dance started at an early age as her Middle Eastern heritage means that she has grown up listening to and dancing to traditional Arabic music. 

Nadia joined Sabihah Stars in 2011 and is known for her elegant veil performances and graceful dancing.

Nadia has performed at a wide variety of events and parties and recently joined Laura at the Standon Calling Festival.  

Nadia also has a natural flare for choreography and is assistant choreographer
